Dear Friends and Global Missions Partners,
We hope this letter finds you doing well and walking in the goodness and grace of the Lord. As we reflect on the past couple of years, our hearts are full of gratitude for all that the Lord has done in us and through us—and we are full of anticipation for what’s ahead.
In 2023, we traveled to Porto Velho, Brazil, where 22,812 souls were saved. Then in 2024, we ministered in Castanhal, Pará, and saw 13,259 people give their lives to Jesus. What we witnessed on both trips was nothing short of a move of God.
Thousands were healed, delivered, and filled with the power of the Holy Ghost. In addition to preaching the Gospel, we were able to provide food and humanitarian aid to families living in poverty—many of whom had never experienced the tangible love of Christ. These acts of kindness opened hearts wide to receive the Gospel.
Jesus said in Luke 4:18:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives...”
That same Spirit is still at work today!
In June 2025, we will be heading to Parauapebas, Brazil, a city in great spiritual and physical need. We believe this could be one of the most powerful outreaches we’ve seen yet, and are anticipating a harvest of 30,000 to 50,000 souls. This trip will not only bring salvation and healing, but also benefit local churches and pastors, impact the poor and forsaken, and equip leaders with tools for long-term transformation.
We’ll be leaving behind more than memories—we’ll be leaving keys for sustainable ministry impact in the hands of local believers. To date, by the grace of God, we’ve seen over 748,064 souls saved, and we are moving forward with faith toward our goal of one million souls.
Romans 10:14–15 reminds us:
“How can they hear unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?”
We’re reaching out to invite you to partner with us—in prayer and financial support—as we prepare to go. Our total budget for this mission is $60,000. A generous church here in the U.S. has already pledged $15,000, leaving us with $45,000 to raise over the next 6 weeks.
Here’s a breakdown of the remaining needs:
-
Sound, Stage, Lighting, and Rental Grounds: $18,000
-
Radio and TV Advertising Spots: $2,000
-
Food Distribution and Humanitarian Aid: $7,500
-
Printed Follow-up Materials and Literature for New Believers: $7,500
-
Support staff of four, including airfare, lodging, transportation, and offerings to help them (many of whom have labored for months in advance): $10,000
Your giving helps us cover these essential costs and allows us to serve the people of Parauapebas with excellence—both spiritually and practically. Every gift makes a difference.
As we move quickly toward our June departure, we’re trusting the Lord to provide every resource needed to carry out this mission. There’s still financial ground to cover, and if the Lord is prompting your heart, now is a meaningful time to give.
We know not everyone is called to stand on the field in Brazil, but by sending us, you become a part of this great outpouring of God’s love—every soul saved, every person healed, every family touched.
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for praying, for giving, and for believing. We can’t wait to share with you what God does next in Parauapebas.
Answering the call,
Doug & Katia Rowland
